What we accept and what items we charge fees for

NextStep accepts most things for free, but there are some items that have fees. We try to reuse everything we can, but not everything, even if it is in working condition, can be reused. We charge fees for items that require extra labor to dismantle for proper recycling or items we have to pay to dispose of. We have fees for printers, microwaves, UPS backup batteries, wooden speakers, and some specialty items. There are no fees for computers, monitors and televisions if they come from a household or business with 10 or less employees.
